Dear Postma Families ,
Words can not begin to express the gratitude we have for everyone’s support so far this year. The financial support we have been receiving is fantastic but on top of that the amount of Volunteers we have had helping has been incredible and the positive feedback we have received is wonderful. We all have the same goal and that’s to make Postma the best School possible for every Student, together we can make this happen.
Our big Fall Fundraiser Charleston Wrap did even better then we expected, we raised a total of $15,098.30 for Postma! Thank you to everyone who promoted the fundraiser and/or purchased items to help us exceed our previous goal. We truly appreciate all the support.

We have now had our 2nd garden day for our 3rd graders, if you have a child in this grade make sure you ask him/her about it , they loved seeing how well their seeds are growing and learning about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly.
We hope to increase our fundraising efforts so that we can continue to grow our garden and add additional grades to the Ready to Grow program while still continuing to provide financial support needed for other much needed resources and curriculum support for the 22-23 school year.
Did you know your PTO works hard to bring in fun educational presentations to our Students? Sometimes our Students even get to go off campus to experience these programs when at all possible.
Here’s some upcoming fun we have this month :
2nd graders will be taking a field trip to see SEUSSICAL
Kindergarten will get a presentation on Guinea Pigs
We are working on scheduling special programs for our other grade levels as we move into the 2nd semester
In order to continue to bring these programs to our Students, provide grants to our Teachers for classroom resources, have our Holiday/EOY parties, provide the School with resources , and everything else the PTO funds plus adding much more, we still need your help throughout the school year.
We currently have our Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser happening until Friday the 5th, see flyer below 👇🼠and in the Spring we will be bringing back our Boosterthon Fun Run which is not only our biggest fundraiser but one all our Pumas absolutely love. Plus we have a ton of spirit nights lined up, who doesn’t love an excuse not to cook or do dishes while helping a school you love.
We continue to ask you for your support and appreciate all you can do to help, the PTO cannot be successful at any of the fundraising events without the assistance of our MANY volunteers, staff, parents, and even the students. We are all part of a tight knit community and it is important we continue to foster these relationships by being involved as much as each of us possibly can.
We try to communicate as much as possible but so you don’t miss anything we have everything keep up to date online. Please make sure to keep up with our events on the calendar on our website postmapto.membershiptoolkit.com. You can even subscribe to the calendar so our events are added to your device (I personally love this feature).
